We seek an exceptional Executive Director, Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) to lead a critical agenda at an enterprise scale. The role involves delivering a comprehensive strategy in digital, data, and technology that directly supports regulatory outcomes and public trust. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is part of the Executive Committee, responsible for integrating digital products, enterprise technology, data and analytics, cyber security, and large-scale program delivery into a cohesive agenda. This includes overseeing Registry Connect, a significant transformation of business registers essential to millions of companies, professionals, and stakeholders, and ensuring operational stability with robust cyber security measures.
The successful candidate will set and execute the client's digital, data, and technology strategy aligned with organizational priorities and regulatory outcomes. The role involves leading major transformation programs and embedding data, analytics, and responsible AI into enforcement and decision-making processes. Responsibilities include modernizing external digital channels to offer secure, user-friendly experiences, providing executive oversight of high-value investment portfolios, managing risk, and ensuring the realization of value. Additionally, the candidate will partner with the Commission, CEO, and external stakeholders to influence strategic direction, fostering an inclusive, values-driven leadership environment.
The ideal candidate is a senior digital, data, or technology executive with a substantial record of leading enterprise-wide transformations in complex environments. They should possess strategic vision, delivery discipline, and the ability to interact confidently with boards, commissioners, regulators, industry peers, and senior leaders. A leadership style based on integrity, composure, and public service, with a commitment to developing future capabilities, is crucial. Experience in leading large-scale digital, data, technology, and cyber portfolios, particularly in regulated or data-rich environments, along with the ability to translate emerging technologies into practical, trusted solutions, is highly desirable.
