The client is seeking an Executive Director of Career Success to lead and transform the student and alumni career services model to better meet the needs of constituents in a rapidly changing global environment. This role is designed for a strategic relationship builder and team leader who is comfortable driving change, developing novel approaches to work, and operating at pace in an industry where speed is not typically the norm.
The Executive Director will work with a cross-functional team to transform the student experience and will serve as a strategic bridge between the business and non-profit sectors and higher education. Reporting to the Vice Provost for Student Formation within the Provost’s Office, the role will help ensure meaningful, career-shaping co-op experiences and strengthen the client’s visibility and impact within regional and national business communities.
The successful candidate should understand both the corporate world and the higher education ecosystem, and be able to navigate complex organizational structures. The ideal profile includes experience aligned with workforce needs and economic trends, along with a strong appreciation for the mission-driven culture typical of a private liberal arts institution, as well as the ability to align career services with the institution’s liberal arts heritage and student outcomes.
