The client is seeking a Director of Executive Compensation & Board Advisory Consulting for its operations in Singapore. This high-impact role will oversee the organization's Rewards, Executive Compensation, and Board Advisory practice in the region. The individual will report directly to the regional leadership team, working within a global and regional leadership structure to drive business development and deliver client solutions across the region. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team of consultants and analysts, shaping and executing the firm's executive compensation and board advisory strategy.
Key responsibilities include business origination, pipeline development, and crafting proposals for complex client needs. The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, developing trusted relationships with C-suite clients and enhancing cross-sell opportunities. Responsibilities include designing and delivering executive and broad-based compensation solutions, such as long-term incentive plans and executive benchmarking. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with marketing and commercial teams to drive lead generation and thought leadership, representing the organization at industry events, and contributing to publications on pay, governance, and market trends. The candidate will also manage a regional team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous development while ensuring effective project execution and client outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Executive Compensation and Board Advisory, preferably with a background in professional services or consulting. They should possess a deep understanding of Southeast Asian markets, strong commercial acumen, and proven leadership skills to coach and develop teams. Some travel is required.
