The successful candidate will execute business development opportunities within key vertical OEMs and distributors supplying power generation applications across industries like green energy, transportation, and data centres. They are expected to employ a hands-on sales approach to business development and key account management throughout the region. Further responsibilities include mentoring and developing a small remote technical sales team, strategically positioning the company to win desirable work, and defining the optimal sales team structure and market approach.
Applicants should have extensive experience in international sales development and a background in electrical or mechanical engineering or related experience. Middle East regional sales experience is crucial, along with a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver sales business plans and budgets. The role also demands strong leadership skills to lead an international technical sales team, provide technical solutions, and drive best practices in CRM data and pricing tools. Strong communication, data analysis skills, and the ability to motivate and present are essential.
