The client is seeking an ERP Technical Services Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations software system to manage agency finances. Responsibilities include managing technical support activities, planning, design, development, and upgrades to applications, and resolving IT and technical issues related to the financial system. The manager will work closely with all departments to ensure customer needs are met and supervise critical path activities to troubleshoot or escalate as needed.
Key responsibilities for the ERP Technical Services Manager include developing and monitoring department goals, identifying and resolving IT issues, and holding progress meetings with departmental management. The manager will also develop and manage a tactical plan for implementation of updates, fixes, and enhancements, work with application analysts for day-to-day operations, and serve as a technical resource to assist in the growth and utilization of the software system. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to quickly identify problems and implement solutions with minimal downtime.
The ERP Technical Services Manager must have in-depth knowledge of Financials ERP software, technical knowledge of ERP applications, and strong critical thinking skills. They should be a strong people manager who can handle a varied workload and potential stressful situations, work well with groups to build consensus, and have a positive, flexible, and proactive approach to delivery. The manager should also be reliable, willing to assume responsibility, and able to deal with uncertainty in a professional manner.
