Description

The client is seeking an Epic Revenue Cycle Analytics Associate Director to support a commercial health revenue cycle technology and analytics initiative focused on Epic revenue cycle performance, hospital billing optimization, reporting enablement, KPI definition, and executive decision support. This is a remote opportunity supporting a sold and funded project. The role will lead workstreams across Epic revenue cycle technology, analytics, operational performance, reporting readiness, dashboard development, baseline analysis, go-live readiness, post-live stabilization, and revenue cycle optimization.

Key responsibilities include leading Epic revenue cycle technology and analytics workstreams for a commercial health client; partnering with client executives, operational leaders, IT teams, reporting analysts, and revenue cycle stakeholders; improving hospital billing performance through metric definition, baseline analysis, reporting enablement, and executive-ready insights; defining KPI logic, reporting requirements, dashboard needs, baseline assumptions, and performance monitoring frameworks; and translating revenue cycle data, workflow gaps, and operational trends into actionable recommendations. The role will also support Epic revenue cycle implementation, optimization, transition, go-live readiness, command center, and post-live stabilization activities, while identifying revenue cycle risks, reporting gaps, workflow issues, and performance improvement opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Epic revenue cycle, hospital billing, healthcare analytics, revenue cycle performance improvement, and executive reporting, along with client-facing delivery and cross-functional leadership. Required qualifications include experience supporting Epic revenue cycle implementation, optimization, go-live readiness, post-live stabilization, or performance improvement initiatives; strong understanding of hospital and professional billing, claims and denials, charge capture, reimbursement, AR, revenue integrity, or patient financial services workflows; capability defining KPIs, metric logic, baselines, dashboards, and reporting requirements; and the ability to translate revenue cycle issues into data-driven insights and operational recommendations. The role requires leading workstreams, managing deliverables, communicating with stakeholders, and presenting to senior leadership, with strong communication, organization, analytical, and client-facing skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with additional Epic revenue cycle capabilities and familiarity with common reporting and analytics tools, as well as prior consulting experience mentoring consultants and analysts and supporting large provider or multi-hospital Epic transformations.
