The Engineering Director position at the client, a leader in engineered-to-order machinery, involves organizing the Technical Department to anticipate technical requirements and promote the development of new engineering solutions. Responsibilities include defining engineering design methods and processes, establishing a team for continuous improvement and innovation, and collaborating with Sales and Operations to define standard technical specifications. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring machinery design compliance with regulations and international standards, as well as implementing training programs for the Technical Office team.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Mechanical Engineering degree and at least 5 years of experience in B2B companies producing custom machinery or engineered-to-order systems. Strong technical expertise in Project Management, Design to Cost, and Design for Manufacturing is required, along with leadership and communication skills to coordinate teams and manage stakeholder relations. Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also necessary.
