The client seeks an accomplished academic endocrinologist to serve as Division Chief for Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. This leader will guide a division positioned for expansion in clinical care, research, and education, working in close collaboration with a diabetes center to advance discovery and improve outcomes in diabetes and related metabolic diseases. The role will help expand reach and impact across the region and beyond, with an emphasis on strengthening integrated academic health initiatives.
As director, the division chief will foster interdisciplinary collaboration across the campus and with community partners to advance endocrine and metabolic health statewide. Key priorities include expanding access to care, building innovative research programs, recruiting and developing faculty, and supporting high-quality education and training. The division’s growth efforts are supported by institutional and philanthropic investment, supporting continued program development, clinical access, clinical trials, and translational research.
Applicants should be board-certified in endocrinology and eligible for appointment as associate professor or professor. The successful candidate will bring a record of achievement in clinical, research, and educational leadership and will be expected to support faculty growth, research excellence, and training outcomes aligned with the division’s strategic priorities.
