the client is looking for a General Manager who, reporting directly to ownership, will be responsible for end-to-end company management with direct ownership of the profit and loss statement and coordination of Administration, Sales, and Operations. The role will focus on ensuring managerial continuity, consolidating the position already achieved, and supporting balanced, sustainable growth. Rather than requiring major turnaround, the assignment is to value what has been built, improve cross-functional coordination, and strengthen overall organizational and operational oversight.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the company’s overall management with direct accountability for the economic results, coordinating and integrating the Administration, Sales, and Operations functions, and supporting ownership in day-to-day business management and business development. The role will contribute to maintaining and expanding profitable activities, promote greater focus on customer, product, and margin analysis, and ensure alignment among the main functions. The General Manager will also maintain the right balance between operational oversight, coordination of the commercial network, and economic sustainability, while overseeing—together with relevant internal functions and ownership—the contractual and legal aspects related to relationships with customers, partners, and the sales network.
The ideal candidate has experience in entrepreneurial contexts, preferably in companies that produce and commercialize B2B products or solutions. They should demonstrate cross-functional leadership in complex organizational settings, ideally with experience starting from an operations background, along with strong understanding of commercial dynamics and sales network management, including attention to related contractual and legal considerations. The role requires the ability to work closely with ownership, a pragmatic, results-oriented approach, strong interpersonal authority and people coordination skills, a holistic management perspective, and good knowledge of English. The selection also considers candidates transitioning for the first time into a General Manager role from positions such as Operations Manager, including those with an international business outlook.
