We are seeking a General Director to lead a relevant cooperative group in Minas Gerais, with strategic and operational responsibility for strengthening the business, enabling sustainable growth, and maximizing results. The role requires strong knowledge of the agribusiness and agroindustrial sector, particularly agricultural commodities, along with long-term vision and disciplined execution.
Key responsibilities include driving the cooperative’s overall strategy to ensure sustainable growth, profitability, and value creation for members; improving operational efficiency through productivity focus, cost control, and continuous improvement; developing and executing strategic planning aimed at geographic expansion and increased market participation; strengthening commercial performance by expanding sales channels and customer relationships and reinforcing competitive positioning. The role also involves managing commodity-related business activities, including market dynamics, pricing, and risk management, as well as promoting solid governance and alignment with the board and cooperative members.
The successful candidate will have consolidated executive leadership experience (board-level or equivalent), preferably within agriculture, cooperatives, or agribusiness, and solid knowledge of agricultural commodities markets. They should demonstrate a track record of delivering significant commercial and financial results, with strong data-informed decision-making, high negotiation and influence ability, resilience and adaptability, and a strong owner mindset. The position also requires fluent English and demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performance teams while representing the cooperative with stakeholders, strategic partners, and regulatory bodies, including readiness to relocate to Minas Gerais.
