the client is a large, internationally active industrial organization with highly complex, regulated operations across multiple markets. in this context, the client is seeking an executive-level commercial leader to define and drive international commercial strategy aligned with the corporate plan, including setting global growth, profitability, market positioning, and market-share targets across external markets. the role will also evaluate and determine approaches for entry, expansion, and consolidation in new international markets.
the position will oversee commercial governance and execution by structuring and revising global commercial policies, covering pricing, contracts, compliance, commercial terms, and channel models. it will ensure governance, standardization, and consistency of international commercial activities while accounting for regional specifics, and will translate strategy into operational plans, KPIs, and performance monitoring routines. the leader will also represent the client in strategic negotiations with key customers, distributors, and global partners, and will act institutionally with stakeholders and relevant industry forums.
the role requires integrated collaboration with marketing, supply chain, logistics, operations, and regulatory functions to support efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery to customers, while aligning international brand positioning and communication with commercial goals. the successful applicant will be at C-level or immediately below with a strong track record in international operations and commercial go-to-market impact, typically involving regulated, quality- and compliance-sensitive environments and the management of international channels and strategic negotiations. fluency in english is expected, and advanced spanish is desired, alongside experience in global commercial planning, governance of pricing and contracting, and international trade concepts including logistics and related international requirements.
