The client is seeking a Director, Wholesale Finance, to join a lean, senior team with hands-on responsibility across the origination, structuring, and ongoing management of wholesale funding facilities. This role will execute and manage wholesale funding activity in close collaboration with senior investment and finance leadership, with direct exposure to decision-making and transaction execution.
Key responsibilities include originating and structuring wholesale facilities, such as block, revolving, and bespoke funding solutions; leading transactions from initial assessment through credit approval, documentation, and drawdown; and managing relationships with funders, borrowers, legal advisers, and other external stakeholders. The Director will also assess loan portfolios, collateral performance, cash flows, and risk structures, and prepare and present materials for internal investment committee and funder discussions.
The successful applicant will be a Director-level professional with proven experience structuring and executing wholesale or speciality finance facilities, strong credit fundamentals, and comfort operating in credit and risk forums. Experience supporting non-bank lenders and specialist lenders or alternative credit platforms is expected, along with a pragmatic, execution-focused approach and the ability to operate effectively in a lean environment.
