The Board of Trustees is looking for a Director to lead as the charity's Chief Executive and Accounting Officer, providing strategic, creative, and operational leadership. The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a long-term vision, enhancing governance and financial sustainability, fundraising, overseeing programming, audience development, communications, conservation, and day-to-day operations. They will also serve as the main ambassador for the organization, building relationships with various partners in the UK and internationally, while ensuring the preservation of the Grade I listed building and its collections.The ideal candidate will have experience in leadership roles, a strong understanding of financial management, fundraising, and strategic planning. They should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders. The Director will need to have a passion for cultural heritage and a commitment to preserving historical sites, as well as the ability to drive growth and innovation within the organization.
