The Director of the Institute will lead and inspire the scientific team, driving the strategic development of research programs to maintain a global presence in cancer science. Collaborating with key stakeholders, they will shape the scientific direction of the Institute, make decisions on research investments, and oversee the development of new scientific capabilities. The Director will also focus on leveraging emerging technologies such as data science and artificial intelligence to maximize research opportunities and advancements in the field.In addition to providing scientific leadership, the Director will work closely with our client, the University of Cambridge, and the Institute Executive Committee to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. They will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment, promoting interdisciplinary approaches, and supporting the professional development of staff. The Director will play a crucial role in advancing the Institute's mission to make significant contributions to cancer research and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
