build and expand a national sales strategy for transformers, T&D hardware, and utility infrastructure materials serving investor-owned utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, EPCs, and contractors. Develop new business tied to electric distribution, substation work, grid upgrades, renewable interconnections, and industrial power projects, while leading complex project pursuits that include bill of materials reviews, sourcing strategy, quotations, and delivery coordination.
develop trusted relationships with utility buyers, procurement teams, estimators, project managers, and executive stakeholders to win repeat business and long-cycle opportunities. partner with sourcing, operations, and logistics teams to address lead time constraints, identify alternates, and support customers with project-ready material packages, while sharing field intelligence on pricing, demand trends, specifications, lead times, and competitive activity; the role typically aligns with candidates who have a proven track record in utility materials, electrical infrastructure, power equipment, or T&D product-focused sales environments, with preferred experience in transformer and utility hardware categories, project-based selling, and navigating long sales cycles across multiple stakeholders.
