The client, a leading Corporate & Investment Bank in London, is seeking a Director Subscription Finance to join their team. The Director will be responsible for origination, structuring, negotiation, and management of EMEA subscription finance transactions, as well as fund-level products such as hybrid fund financing, foreign exchange, and derivatives. Key competencies for the role include strong communication skills, deep technical knowledge in fund finance, and credit risk assessment abilities.
The Director Subscription Finance will report to the Managing Director, Subscription Finance EMEA and work closely with a high-performing team to identify and arrange new business opportunities. They will lead deal teams, supervise junior team members, and ensure high-quality execution of transactions. The successful candidate will have significant experience in subscription finance and fund finance markets, with a proven track record in origination, structuring, and negotiation of complex transactions. They must also possess strong technical and analytical skills, as well as leadership and collaboration abilities.
This Director-level position is part of the EMEA Subscription Finance Team within the Specialised Products Department at the client. The team collaborates closely with colleagues in the US and APAC to deliver cross-regional solutions for global clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, strengthening relationships with sponsor clients, and overseeing fund-level business activities and strategic initiatives. They will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks within the portfolio and maintaining strong client and internal relationships to support business development.
