The Director, Standards and Guidance & Education Program Approval reports to the Senior Director, Legislative Services and Deputy Registrar, and is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, evaluation, and modernization of our client's standards of practice, regulatory guidance, and education program approval activities. This role requires a combination of strategic leadership, policy development, practice expertise, relationship management, and change leadership in order to navigate the dynamic and evolving regulatory environment. The Director will lead the development of modern regulatory standards and guidance frameworks, anticipate emerging practice and policy trends, and help the organization respond thoughtfully to changes across healthcare, education, legislation, and professional regulation.Through collaboration, innovation, and sound regulatory decision-making, the Director will play a key role in shaping the future of nursing and midwifery regulation in Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that our client's standards and guidance align with best practices and meet the needs of the nursing and midwifery professions.
