The client is seeking an experienced Director/Head of Stamp Taxes for a partner-track role within a fast-growing advisory firm. This position provides ownership and the autonomy to lead and expand a stamp taxes practice, influence the market as a thought leader, and build a high-performing team. Alongside core stamp taxes expertise, candidates who bring broader capability in real estate tax, transactions, or specialist tax areas may be expected to help strengthen the service offering and support wider client opportunities.
Key responsibilities include developing and leading the Stamp Taxes service line, delivering deep expertise across Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) and related stamp taxes, and driving business growth through client development and winning new work. The role also involves building and maintaining client relationships, demonstrating recognized market presence, and supporting the continued development of the practice through leadership and strategic commercial judgment.
Qualifications include proven leadership and commercial acumen, strong relationship-building skills, and membership of the Stamp Taxes Practitioners Group (STPG). Relevant tax qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent are expected.
