The Director, Safety & Security will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for overseeing all safety, security, risk management, and regulatory compliance activities at the terminal. This role will involve developing and implementing a comprehensive safety and security governance framework, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and fostering a safety-first culture throughout all operations. The Director will also serve as a key point of contact for various stakeholders, including PortsToronto, Transport Canada, and other regulatory bodies, and will be responsible for managing safety management systems, emergency preparedness, business continuity planning, audits, and incident response.In addition to overseeing day-to-day safety and security operations, the Director will also play a strategic role in guiding executive leadership and the Board in decision-making processes. By leveraging data-driven insights and positioning the company as a leader in aviation safety and security, the Director will help drive continuous improvement and innovation in safety practices.
