The Director of Resilient Food Systems will lead efforts to enhance the global food system's resilience by collaborating with various stakeholders and conducting research to identify and address risks and shocks. This role involves working closely with farmers, producers, policymakers, and agrifood organizations to develop innovative strategies that will strengthen the food system for the future. As part of the Agrifood Futures leadership team, the Director will play a key role in fostering an interdisciplinary research culture, shaping infrastructure investments, building strategic partnerships, and securing external funding to support large-scale innovation initiatives.The successful candidate will provide transdisciplinary leadership to drive research initiatives aimed at understanding and mitigating risks to food systems, as well as developing strategies to enhance resilience. This role requires strong collaboration skills to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and drive innovation in the field of food systems. The Director will be responsible for delivering on the program's goals, including cultivating a culture of interdisciplinary research, shaping major investments, and securing funding to support innovative projects that will have a significant impact on the global food system.
