The Director position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and plays a crucial role in advising on regulatory and public policy matters for our client. This includes representing the interests of independent communications providers before regulatory bodies and government agencies, as well as monitoring legislative developments in Canada's broadcasting and telecommunications sectors. The Director will also contribute to organizational planning and governance initiatives, serving as the Corporate Secretary for the Board and its committees.This role offers a unique opportunity to shape national communications policy and advocate for the continued delivery of essential services and consumer choice by independent providers across Canada. The Director will work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and member companies to help shape our client's strategic direction and national advocacy agenda. This position requires a strong understanding of regulatory and policy issues in the communications industry, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels.
