The Director, Registration will report to the Chief Regulatory Officer and Registrar and will be responsible for leading our client's registration and licensing functions under BC's Professional Governance Act. This role involves making timely, fair, and risk-informed decisions that support and protect the public interest. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director will play a central role in shaping strategy, advancing organizational priorities, and driving a culture of service excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will focus on modernizing and streamlining registration processes through the use of technology, data, and process optimization to ensure efficiency, consistency, and responsiveness in a complex regulatory environment.Leading a team of approximately 25 professionals through two direct reports, the Director will foster a high-performing, collaborative culture grounded in coaching, mentorship, accountability, and career pathing. The ideal candidate will inspire their team to embrace innovation and continuous learning while maintaining a balanced, principled approach to regulatory decision making and risk management. Additionally, the Director will provide strategic and operational advice to the Credentials Committee, Board, and external partners on matters related to registration, licensure, and credentialing. This role also involves overseeing the development, review, and implementation of registration policies, procedures, and standards to ensure they are effective, transparent, and aligned with legislative and organizational objectives.
