the client is seeking an experienced Director People to help build and professionalize HR structures during a period of rapid growth, increasing internationalization, and rising organizational complexity. In this newly created role, you will work closely with senior leadership to establish HR as a central driver for sustainable growth, while maintaining the organization’s pragmatic, hands-on, entrepreneurial culture.
You will lead the further development of the HR organization and manage the HR team, including harmonizing and standardizing key HR processes on an international level. Responsibilities also include supporting organizational planning and growth scenarios, integrating new units, creating transparency around headcount and organizational structures to inform management and investor decisions, and developing a KPI-driven organization. You will provide close advisory support to the executive team and national and international leaders, introduce and evolve performance and feedback processes, and build career frameworks as well as learning and development programs.
Additional priorities include harmonizing and improving compensation and bonus models, selecting and implementing a global HR system (HRIS), and taking ownership of employment law topics. The role typically requires several years of experience in a leading HR position (such as Head of or Director), ideally in an international environment, with demonstrated strength advising executives and people leaders. You should have solid knowledge of employment law, experience with HR processes, compensation, and HR systems (HRIS), and a hands-on, structured, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to create clarity in dynamic, still-evolving structures.
