The client is seeking a Vice President for Institutional Advancement (VPIA) who will act as the Chief Development Officer. This leadership role is crucial for fostering growth and maintaining the clients standing as a pivotal institution for African American intellectual achievement and faith-based learning. Established in 1856, the client is the oldest private Historically Black College or University in the United States, with a strong commitment to developing students into community leaders with character, insight, and leadership skills. The VPIA will report directly to the President, Dr. Vann Newkirk, and play an integral role in the senior leadership team, taking charge of development, fundraising, institutional advancement, and other related initiatives.
