The Director of the Utah Data Coordinating Center (DCC) is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational performance, financial stewardship, and organizational development for the center. They oversee the scientific direction of the DCC, ensuring high-quality, large-scale clinical and health research while maintaining rigorous standards for scientific quality and regulatory compliance. The Director works closely with faculty investigators, institutional leaders, federal agencies, industry sponsors, and other external collaborators to drive the growth and success of the DCC.Reporting to the Executive Vice President for Health Sciences, the Director leads a team of faculty, staff, and organizational leaders to create conditions for continued excellence in clinical research. They are responsible for ensuring the DCC is positioned to respond effectively to emerging opportunities in the field. The Director plays a key role in fostering collaborations and partnerships to support the mission and goals of the DCC, ultimately contributing to the advancement of scientific research and healthcare outcomes.
