the successful candidate will report to the provost and demonstrate a deeply rooted commitment to the full scope of the museum’s programs and partnerships, along with proven ability to work collaboratively with faculty, leadership, staff, students, and community partners. the role requires deep knowledge of the arts and a strong commitment to the values of a liberal arts institution, including an advanced degree in an art-related field and significant museum leadership experience. the director will represent the museum to external constituencies, including alumni and friends of the arts, the board of advisors, and regional audiences.
