The client seeks a Director of Talent Planning & Acquisition to lead the design, development, and execution of enterprise-wide workforce planning, career pathing, talent acquisition, and succession planning strategies. This role will use workforce insights and partner with organizational leaders to attract, acquire, and retain the human capital needed to achieve the organization’s mission and strategic priorities, with an emphasis on building a competitive, future-ready workforce aligned to organizational ends.
Key responsibilities include modeling and driving leadership and accountability across respective teams, strengthening organizational capability, and supporting the successful accomplishment of organizational goals while helping to avoid executive limitations. The director will also model organizational vision, strategy, values, purpose, and culture, working both internally and externally to reinforce a coherent talent approach.
The director will empower, coach, and develop people by modeling agile practices and demonstrating a commitment to racial equity, community engagement, and leadership development. Additional responsibilities include engaging staff and external constituents with timely, consistent, and aligned communications, driving innovation through relevant industry insights and continuous learning within areas of expertise, and delivering high performance through data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
