The client is seeking a Director of Surgical Services at a 600+ bed acute care hospital in Plano, TX. The facility is recognized as a Magnet hospital and a Level I Trauma Center, providing advanced care including cancer treatment, cardiovascular services, bariatric surgery, wound care, inpatient rehabilitation, women’s and children’s services, and a Level III neonatal intensive-care unit.
The Director of Surgical Services will oversee 25 operating rooms within a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet hospital. The role manages a team of managers and a large surgical workforce, with accountability for department operations and delivery of high-quality patient care across a high-volume surgical environment.
With approximately 1,000 surgical cases per month, the director will lead surgical services supporting trauma, burn care, surgical oncology, neuro, and orthopedics. The position reports to the VP of Surgical Services and is expected to drive operational excellence while ensuring consistent clinical outcomes and effective department performance.
