Description

The client is seeking a Director of Global Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations across a portfolio of apparel brands. The role will oversee demand planning, supply planning, production, logistics, and distribution, while driving operational excellence and long-term supply chain strategy. This leadership position will support scaling global operations by improving efficiency, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and ensuring products are delivered on time and to quality standards.

Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic initiatives that enhance supply chain effectiveness and align with business objectives, as well as implementing process improvements and performance optimization to improve service, cost efficiency, inventory management, and overall operational effectiveness. The director will establish and monitor performance metrics across supply chain functions, and ensure processes, systems, and teams can support future growth and increasing complexity. The role also includes operational risk mitigation and collaboration to support product quality initiatives and post-sales processes.

The director will lead and mentor a large, cross-functional supply chain organization, including multiple people leaders, to build high-performing teams focused on service, efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement. They will foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, develop talent through coaching and succession planning, and partner closely with Product, Sourcing, Quality, Operations, and Commercial teams to drive alignment and successful product delivery. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in apparel or related consumer products, demonstrated management of complex global supply chain operations, strong people leadership in cross-functional environments, and strong analytical skills; domestic and international travel may be required as needed, with additional advanced education and multi-brand experience as preferred.
