Our client, The University of Maryland College Park, is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the director of the Adele H. STAMP Student Union Center for Campus Life. This individual will report to the assistant vice president for engagement in Student Affairs and play a crucial role in enhancing student belonging, updating systems and policies, and building partnerships to support student success. The director will be responsible for overseeing major capital improvements, reimagining spaces, and aligning resources to ensure the Union remains a vibrant hub of campus life. With a focus on inclusivity and engagement, the director will lead a team of staff and student employees to create a welcoming and future-ready environment for all students.The ideal candidate for this position will be a relational leader and effective communicator who can inspire others and clearly articulate the STAMP's importance in the student experience. They will manage a large team of staff and student employees, as well as a significant budget, to ensure the Union operates smoothly and efficiently. The director will be a key member of the Division of Student Affairs senior leadership team, working collaboratively to advance holistic student success and create a campus environment that fosters community and engagement.
