The Director of the School of Social Work is a senior academic leader responsible for promoting excellence in teaching, research, service, and student success. They provide financial and operational leadership, act as the primary ambassador for the School, and work collaboratively with various stakeholders to define and advance a strategic direction aligned with the School's priorities and the university's mission. The Director manages people and culture initiatives to create an equitable, inclusive, and collegial environment, supports research activities, educational programming, and strengthens the School's influence locally and globally.The Director fosters collaborative relationships and partnerships to address emerging societal needs and opportunities, advancing the School's vision of connecting people, improving lives, and creating social change. They play a key role in transformative social work education, research, and community engagement to promote a just and inclusive society at both the provincial and international levels.
