The client is seeking an accomplished Director of Sales to lead residential fiber sales for multifamily and association-based communities across high-potential Southeast markets. This is a highly visible, hands-on role focused on turning market potential into signed agreements and sustaining regional revenue growth. The director will shape the residential fiber sales channel and directly influence regional performance while developing sales talent and building partnerships that support next-generation connectivity.
The director will own and execute the regional sales strategy for multifamily, community, and association opportunities, leading a field sales team and stepping in for complex pursuits and executive-level negotiations as needed. Responsibilities include driving bulk service and property access agreements from initial outreach through commercial negotiation, signature, and handoff; building durable relationships with property owners, developers, management groups, association boards, and other decision-makers; and using market intelligence and pipeline data to prioritize opportunities, improve conversion, and maintain clear visibility into deal progress. The role will also support go-to-market planning for new and existing communities in partnership with marketing and other commercial teams.
To succeed, the director will coordinate with construction, engineering, operations, and service delivery teams to align commercial commitments with deployment timelines, identify obstacles affecting property activation or expansion, and convene relevant internal and external stakeholders to move projects forward. The director will establish an operating rhythm for forecasting, pipeline reviews, performance management, and accountability, and represent The client throughout the region through meaningful time in-market with customers, partners, prospects, and team members. Required qualifications include 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience with at least 3 years focused on multifamily housing or homeowners association markets, a track record of converting complex community opportunities into commercial agreements, and strong knowledge of broadband sales in MDU and HOA contexts; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, and U.S. employment authorization requirements must be met. Preferred qualifications include telecommunications, broadband, fiber, or adjacent connectivity industry experience and experience working alongside network construction, deployment, or field operations teams, and the role is expected to involve approximately 50–60% travel across the assigned region.
