The client is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the positioning and launch planning for a new luxury boutique hotel in the Caribbean, with an anticipated room count of about 250. While the property is under development, this role will focus on establishing the brand at the expected level and preparing the hotel’s distribution approach to support expected demand.
The Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for building relationships with travel agency partners (including both on-site and off-line channels), identifying priority cities, and shaping strategies aligned with a guest base expected to be largely based in the US. This position is expected to support the development of the distribution network and ensure sales and marketing efforts are aligned with the hotel’s luxury brand positioning.
Candidates should have prior experience in luxury hotels or luxury hospitality, preferably within boutique environments. Significant travel is expected across the US and to the Caribbean. Bilingual English and Spanish is a strong plus, and experience at comparable luxury brands and in sales or marketing leadership roles (such as Sales Director or Marketing Director) is appreciated.
