Description

The client is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to lead US operations and drive growth in the market. This role will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive revenue, and expand the customer base in the United States, supporting the client’s focus on innovation, sustainability, and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for revenue growth, building and managing a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and increase market share, and developing relationships with key accounts, distributors, and trade partners. The role will collaborate with the European headquarters and other global teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and product offerings, while monitoring market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to inform strategy. The director will also plan and execute product launches, events, and promotions to boost brand awareness and customer engagement, and manage the US marketing budget to allocate resources effectively and maximize return on investment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, preferably in the spirits industry, along with a proven track record of building and managing successful sales teams and driving revenue growth. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with an MBA preferred, and 8+ years of experience in sales and marketing, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. The candidate should demonstrate strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, along with strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
