The client is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead revenue cycle operations in a high-growth environment. The role will drive financial strength by overseeing key functions and guiding continuous improvement as the organization scales. The director will manage end-to-end revenue cycle performance, collaborating across finance, clinical, and operations teams to streamline processes and support strategic planning.
Key responsibilities include leading and setting performance standards for the revenue cycle team, including Billing, QA, Authorizations, and Credentialing operations. The director will oversee billing, collections, payment processes, and accounts receivable management, ensuring timely claims submission. This position will also identify process improvements to minimize revenue leakage, analyze claim denials to reduce recurrence, prepare reports on performance and trends, and stay current on payer policies while spearheading compliance initiatives.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred. The role requires over seven years of revenue cycle management experience, including at least three years in a leadership capacity, along with in-depth knowledge of healthcare billing practices, payer regulations, coding (CPT, ICD-10), and financial processes. Proficiency in revenue cycle software, EHR systems, and analytics tools such as Power BI is expected, along with strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills for mentoring and team development. The director will also act as a compliance officer for Medicaid, overseeing regulatory compliance and audit management, including medical record and insurance audits.
