The Centre for Disability Studies (CDS) is looking for an experienced research leader to oversee its research and innovation program. The Director of Research and Innovation will work closely with the CEO to lead the research team, establish partnerships, and secure funding for major research projects. This role is unique in that it requires the individual to bridge the gap between academia, community, practice, and policy to ensure that research has a real impact on the lives of people with disabilities.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual disability research and a proven track record of academic leadership. They will be responsible for mentoring and developing the research team, as well as building partnerships on a national and international level.
