The client seeks a collaborative and experienced compliance leader to serve as its inaugural Director of Research Compliance within the Office of Compliance and Corporate Integrity. Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer and working closely with senior research leadership, the Director will lead the organization’s research compliance program at a pivotal time as regulatory and federal research security expectations continue to evolve.
The Director will engage, lead, and energize a broad network of research compliance stakeholders across a large and complex research enterprise. Key responsibilities include stewarding a high-stakes, evolving portfolio; shaping a compliance function that will define the organization’s research posture for years to come; and enabling ethical, compliant, high-quality research through the build-out of trust, community, and culture across the institution.
Candidates should demonstrate judgment, credibility, and executive presence to guide enterprise-level research compliance. The role is expected to support proactive, integrated compliance leadership that advances and strengthens an established foundation, while aligning the research compliance program with changing expectations for ethical research conduct and research security.
