This strategic leadership role will oversee production planning, vendor management, delivery execution, costing, and team development to help products move smoothly from development through final delivery in a fast-paced, launch-driven environment.
Responsibilities include leading and scaling the production function to support business growth and seasonal launches; owning production calendars, critical paths, factory allocation, capacity planning, and delivery performance; and managing domestic and overseas manufacturing partners to drive accountability, quality, and on-time execution. The role also involves overseeing costing and margin management, supporting sourcing strategies and operational efficiencies, developing production KPIs and vendor scorecards to improve performance and visibility, partnering cross-functionally with key teams involved in product creation and operations, and proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to protect quality, timelines, and profitability.
The client is looking for a candidate with strong apparel production and supply chain leadership experience, including garment construction, textiles, dyeing, printing, trims, packaging, and quality standards. The role typically requires experience managing domestic and international factories and vendor relationships, along with proven capability in production planning, costing, capacity management, quality assurance, and delivery execution. Knowledge of licensed apparel production and compliance processes is a plus, and experience with ERP, PLM, and production tracking systems is expected; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
