The Director, Planning will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic planning initiatives and programs for our client. This includes overseeing development planning, city design, urban regeneration, and analytics. Leading a team of over 25 staff members, the Director will play a key role in shaping the department's vision, managing projects of various sizes, and mentoring and developing team members. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for ensuring our client has the necessary systems, policies, and processes in place to support continued growth in a transparent, consistent, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate for this role will be a talented and ambitious planning professional with experience in leading planning functions. They should have a strong background in urban planning and a proven track record of successfully managing projects and teams. The Director, Planning will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to achieve our client's planning goals.
