The client is seeking a Director of Organisational Performance to join their team in the UK. The client is a leader in fusion research and development, with a focus on realizing commercially viable energy from fusion. The Director will be responsible for leading effective business operations, organization design, improvement, communications, and the people function. This role is crucial in driving a coherent approach across key areas, supporting the expansion and evolution of the client and their flagship national programme, STEP.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a COO or leader of Business Operations in a complex, scaling environment. They should have experience in organization design, change management, and people management. While not required to be a qualified HR specialist, the Director must have a solid understanding of key HR matters to support overall business performance. Experience working in both public and private sectors, as well as in a matrix and project-based environment, is preferred.
