The client recently acquired two large supermarkets in Union, NJ and is building its executive operations team. The Director of Operations will assist the Executive VP of Operations in managing the day-to-day operations of both locations, with a regular expectation of being present on the store floor.
The role is best suited for a senior operations executive with strong experience overseeing large supermarket environments. The Director of Operations will support effective daily execution across the stores, ensuring operational continuity and consistent performance in a fast-paced retail setting.
Qualifications include 10–15+ years of experience running large supermarkets. Prior experience with established supermarket operators may be beneficial, and previous leadership titles such as Director of Operations, VP of Operations, or General Manager are appreciated.
