The client is seeking a strategic operations leader to oversee data center operations in Indonesia in a newly created role. This Director of Operations position provides operational leadership for multidisciplinary teams delivering 24/7 operations across facilities, engineering, security, property management, customer onboarding, and service delivery, with a focus on reliability, uptime, and compliance with internal frameworks and industry best practices.
The role will implement and monitor standardized operating models and drive performance against KPIs spanning uptime, financial performance, safety, SLAs, maintenance, and vendor management. Responsibilities also include overseeing contract reviews, mitigating operational risks, and supporting continuous service improvement.
The client expects strong cross-functional collaboration with regional and global teams across operations, procurement, sustainability, engineering, design, security, asset management, and sales to ensure consistency and efficiency. The position will support the customer lifecycle through installations, service reviews, and escalation management, contribute to customer and market engagement activities such as industry events and intelligence gathering, and provide strategic input into operational standardization, resource planning, and investment decisions, supported by a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline, significant leadership experience in data center operations or mission-critical environments, and a strong understanding of data center mechanical and electrical systems.
