The Director of Nursing, Emergency Department/Critical Care will be responsible for leading and advancing critical clinical areas under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer. This role will focus on ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate care for patients in need of emergency, urgent, and critical care services in a high-volume environment. The Director will oversee nursing practice, daily operations, staffing, quality, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement in the Emergency Department and Critical Care areas, with a goal of improving patient flow, reducing delays in care, enhancing clinical outcomes, and improving the patient and family experience.Collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing leaders, ancillary departments, and hospital operations will be essential for the Director to drive an integrated, team-based model of care and align departmental priorities with broader organizational goals.
