the client is seeking a Director of Ministry to provide spiritual maturity and strategic leadership for a deeply Christ-centered culture across its programs and teams. This role blends pastoral care with executive-level program leadership to equip staff, strengthen partnerships, and ensure evangelism, discipleship, and prayer are meaningfully integrated into holistic, transformational support for vulnerable communities. The Director will also serve as a trusted spiritual voice and organizational architect, partnering closely with other senior leaders to advance innovation, accountability, and mission alignment.
Reporting with direct oversight of a small leadership group and broader indirect oversight of front line workers serving communities across the greater toronto area, the Director of Ministry will lead and scale teams characterized by humility, accountability, collaboration, and results. Responsibilities include setting goals and performance metrics, aligning team structures and staffing models to support strategic priorities and sustainable growth, and fostering transparent, cross-functional communication to strengthen unity and enterprise-wide effectiveness.
Key program leadership responsibilities include overseeing a unified portfolio of transformational ministry programs aligned to the client’s strategic plan and holistic model of care. The Director will champion the integration of evangelism, discipleship, and prayer across ministry locations, provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance to staff, volunteers, residents, and community members, and cultivate spiritual formation through teaching and intentional discipleship initiatives. The role also includes driving measurable program impact through clear objectives and data-informed evaluation processes, advancing a residential recovery pathway with transitional housing and Christ-centered supports, and stewarding financial resources with integrity by developing and managing an annual budget.
