Description

The client is seeking a dynamic Director to lead a subscription-supported executive community platform focused on AEC firm leaders. The role is centered on building and shaping the platform (“the room” where leaders connect for actionable advice, peer conversations, and business intelligence) rather than serving as a conventional membership management position. The Director will translate the organization’s intellectual property into real-world value for executive audiences.

Key responsibilities include designing the future of the executive network from content through membership growth and renewal strategy, building deep and trusted relationships with AEC firm CEOs and senior leaders, and turning insights into measurable growth across membership, engagement, and impact. The Director will elevate the member experience by actively listening to member needs and feedback and converting that input into tangible offerings, while also driving acquisition, retention, and engagement through campaigns and partnerships.

The Director will shape and continuously refine the structure, benefits, and delivery of the network using data, market signals, and direct member input to expand value and revenue opportunities. They will execute across internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of content, events, and member touchpoints, acting as an internal quarterback to provide order, clarity, and momentum. Required qualifications include at least 5+ years of product leadership experience in a B2B membership organization, peer network, or association, with a strong ability to engage C-suite executives, excellent judgment, disciplined follow-through, and a bias toward action; experience in the AEC industry may be beneficial but is not required.
