the client is seeking a Director of Marketing focused on Fragrance Product Development to lead brand management, the creation of annual marketing plans, and new product development. The role will head and develop global and domestic marketing strategy for an international key priority brand, with responsibility for building and expanding the product portfolio to support the brand’s global growth.
Key responsibilities include developing a 3-year marketing plan covering product portfolio strategy, innovation, and growth pillars; creating and advancing brand initiatives from concept through market implementation in close collaboration with licensors; and leading multifunctional, multinational teams through the creation, design, and launch of new fragrance initiatives. The director will also work with internal and external creative partners, including designers, fragrance houses, vendors, and manufacturers, and will define global communication and advertising strategies across image, digital, and point of sale in partnership with licensors.
The director will collaborate with international marketing and sales teams to develop global and domestic go-to-market tools and support visual merchandising, anticipating regional needs to align the 3-year plan with the competitive and distribution environment. Additional duties include researching and implementing promotional activities to maximize growth, preparing clear messaging for presentations to top management and support teams, and managing two direct reports. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience, including strong background in fragrance product development and global marketing, excellent communication and organizational skills, fluency in English, and a positive team-oriented approach; prior experience in related luxury fragrance and beauty brand environments and titles such as Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Marketing Director, or Brand Director may be advantageous.
