The client is seeking a Director of Marketing to provide strategic leadership for its central marketing, faculty marketing, and creative services functions. This is a highly visible leadership role during a pivotal period, reporting to the Chief Marketing and Recruitment Officer and focused on shaping how the client presents itself to prospective students and wider audiences worldwide.
The Director of Marketing will lead the development and delivery of an integrated global marketing strategy centered on student recruitment, candidate engagement, and brand impact. The role involves working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Outreach, Recruitment and Admissions, Faculties, and the Communications Division, and leading teams across Campaigns, Digital and Creative Services, and Faculty Marketing to position the client as a destination of choice for exceptional students from the UK and internationally.
The position combines strategic leadership with operational delivery, including leading innovative, data-informed marketing activity across channels and markets, championing digital innovation and improving candidate engagement, and supporting global reputation and brand. It also plays a central role in pre-enrolment digital transformation efforts, including co-leadership of the strategic roadmap for an integrated CRM platform, and therefore requires strong organizational leadership, stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to continuous improvement; prior experience in international marketing strategy within complex organizations and familiarity with higher education or similar environments are expected to be advantageous.
