The client is seeking a Director of Marketing & Community Engagement for Built For Us PGH, an organization that creates space for LGBTQ+ individuals to thrive. The Director will be responsible for overseeing public storytelling, social media strategy, blog content, promotional materials, and event presence. This role requires 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or community engagement, and the ability to collaborate closely with various committees to ensure alignment with the organization's mission. The ideal candidate will have a strong point of view on visibility, community building, and inclusive messaging.

Key responsibilities for the Director of Marketing & Community Engagement include leading all public-facing communication, managing social media presence, collaborating with committees to promote events and programs, creating branded materials, and shaping the narrative of the organization. This is a Pittsburgh-based, in-person leadership role that requires attendance at weekly evening meetings and occasional weekend events. The candidate must have experience in nonprofit or community settings, strong writing and editing skills, and familiarity with social media platforms and content planning tools.
