Description

The client is seeking a Director of Logistics to lead full-time, exempt logistics operations reporting to the Senior Director of Operations. The role supports an expanded learning mission serving youth through programs such as before- and after-school, specialty enrichment, and summer learning, with additional services including early learning, college and career advancement, and inclusion supports. The Director of Logistics will oversee the end-to-end logistics function, including warehouse management, procurement infrastructure, asset and inventory systems, and distribution across 150+ program sites.

Key responsibilities include supervising the Logistics Manager and providing oversight for the logistics associate team, building a high-performing culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and safety, and establishing clear roles, workflows, and performance expectations. The Director of Logistics will ensure warehouse safety protocols are implemented and will oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment across program sites. This position will also help operationalize the organization’s regional expansion by leading and scaling logistics systems that translate hands-on knowledge into durable, organization-wide processes.
