Seeking a Director of Landscape and Operations to join their team and lead initiatives focused on Nature Recovery, Climate Change, People, and Place. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 50 staff members, including rangers, and maintaining strong relationships with partners to develop projects that align with the client's goals. The Director will also be in charge of implementing a new five-year Partnership Management Plan and ensuring that monitoring, evaluation, and reporting systems are in place to measure impact and value for money.
The successful candidate for this role will be a resilient and values-driven leader with experience in organizational planning, corporate reporting, and project and performance monitoring. They must have a track record of developing and delivering strategic objectives and working effectively with a variety of partners. While experience in a protected landscape context is beneficial, it is not required as long as the candidate demonstrates an appreciation for the value and importance of National Parks. The Director of Landscape and Operations will play a crucial role in championing inclusion, nurturing team wellbeing, and serving as an ambassador for the South Downs National Park.
